My work lies somewhere in between abstraction and realism.
I like to blend colors and shapes, creating abstract fields that work together as one piece. I make small rules for myself while I am working, such as where I am “allowed” to put a certain color or shape. When I make a mistake, the rules get spontaneously overwritten.
I like to weave little pieces of poetry or documented process into my art. A lot of it relates to the simple aspects of noticing being alive.
